Recruitment and Screening for Overseas Assignments
Graybridge Malkam’s rich combination of Project Design and Management on the one hand, and Intercultural Effectiveness training on the other, accounts for our expertise in recruiting staff and consultants for overseas projects or assignments.

Recent examples of Graybridge Malkam’s recruitment work:
  • Designed and implemented a Recruitment Strategy for governance, food security, HIV/AIDS, water advisors in Ethiopia.
  • Wrote draft Terms of Reference for specialists working on overseas projects (e.g.: Governance Advisor in China, Food Security specialist in Ghana, Gender Advisor in the Caribbean, and Project Monitor in Jordan).
  • Sourced and screened key consultants for a $5.2 million dollar “Policy Leadership and Advocacy for Gender Equality” project in Bangladesh.

As private, public and non-profit sector organizations become increasingly international, individuals must learn to work effectively in a global environment. At Graybridge Malkam we believe that the key to success is: (a) being "practically" prepared for the experience; (b) developing an understanding of the cultural context; and (c) being aware of your personal mechanisms for adapting to the new environment.

Through our extensive network of professional consultants in Canada and abroad, Graybridge Malkam offers a number of complementary programs and services that ensure a successful personal and professional overseas experience. An organization may choose from a full range of Graybridge Malkam services.

Whether your organization is sending development professionals on a two-year mission to Vietnam; sales representatives on a six-month visit to establish a distribution network in Colombia; technicians for a six-week installation project in Zimbabwe; or university students on a one-year study exchange to Sweden, Graybridge Malkam can offer a comprehensive, custom-designed program to meet your needs.
