Raymond Clark
Associate

Raymond Clark is a specialist in participatory techniques and process. He has been an adult educator in the field of training, facilitation, management and organizational development since 1970, and has delivered regular inter-cultural project management and training programs through Graybridge Malkam since 1995. He custom designs tools and participatory processes for needs assessments, evaluations, programs in intercultural effectiveness, strategic planning, negotiation-conflict resolution, as well as results based management (RBM).

From 1970 to 1990 Raymond worked in long-term overseas postings in Jamaica, Zambia, Nigeria and the South Pacific, and as a country program manager and a regional director for CUSO, a Canadian international technical assistance volunteer agency. He was also the International Program Director for the International Center for Ocean Development (ICOD). Since1993, he has worked in a wide variety of roles with U.N.D.P, U.N.V and other U.N. organisations. This work takes place in the Caribbean, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, China, Africa, India, as well as in Russia and several former Soviet republics. In Canada, Raymond works with the Canadian International Development Agency, Foreign Affairs Canada and International Trade Canada, as well as private sector and non-government organizations.

Raymond holds a Bachelor's degree in English and Sociology (Queen's University), a Bachelor's degree in Education (University of Western Ontario), a Permanent Ontario Teachers Certificate and a Certificate in Adult Education (St. Francis Xavier University). His has also completed courses in: Adult Learning Training Module Design & Evaluation, Breakthrough Planning, RBM, Advanced Group Process and Design Skills, Management Planning Tools, and Envisioning and Strategic Planning.
