An immigrant from Germany, Susi received her Diploma in Agriculture from the University of Guelph, and took several courses in Biology from Carleton University. After retiring from the Public Service as Head of the Electron Microscopic Section at the Animal Diseases Research Institute, Dept. of Agriculture, she then enrolled and graduated from the Literacy Practitioners Program at Algonquin College. Susi has been an Instructor for the WSIB Program at Graybridge-Malkam since 1997. Her first hand experience as an immigrant, years of instructing and mentoring in a scientific laboratory, plus 6 years of teaching (one-on-one) at Graybridge-Malkam has provided her with a wealth of experience in meeting the challenges of teaching students in the WSIB program. Susi is fluently bilingual in English and German.
