| Accommodations |
For those who are joining us in Ottawa for the English Language Summer
Tour Program, there are three choices with respect to accommodations.
Option One - by far the most popular choice, has you staying with a local English-speaking family.
Option Two - allows for staying at a hotel.
Option Three - has you staying on campus at the local university.
|
| Option One: Home-stay |
 |
Each sponsoring home-stay family is carefully interviewed by the home-stay coordinator to ensure a positive environment. All home-stay sites have undergone a police criminal
check to ensure your safety and comfort. The home-stay coordinator will make every attempt to find a new placement at no extra charge if you are not satisfied with your placement prior to the end
of the third day of your stay.
Why is home-stay so popular?
- It is a friendly environment, one that is best suited to practice your English.
- You get a safe, secure, clean and private room in a sponsoring house.
- It includes, as a minimum: bed, desk, chair, dresser, study lamp, access to kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, family room including television and radio, and bathroom.
- You have access to laundry facilities, towels and bed linens.
- It includes three healthy meals per day including a packed lunch for language school.
- You have easy access to language school and other amenities.
