Lucie Tsai a certified ESL teacher with a BA in Political Science and Canadian Studies as well as an MA in Linguistics and Applied Language Studies from Carleton University. She enjoys living overseas and has taught English in Taiwan, Vietnam, Turkey, Romania, and Switzerland. In Canada, she taught in the LINC programme. Having taught in a many different settings, ranging from language schools to universities, Lucie has had the opportunity to teach students of all levels and ages. She strongly believes that language learning is best in a relaxed yet structured environment. With this in mind, she works hard to establish an atmosphere of comradery and openness in her classes where active learning and student participation are constantly encouraged.

Lucie was born in France and is fluent in French. She is currently teaching Workplace beginner French to federal government employees. During her free time, Lucie works on improving her Mandarin Chinese, plays squash, and spoils her two cats.
